The South Beach Spa has hired a full-time physician's assistant to help spa owner and Fort Lauderdale plastic surgeon Dr. Paul Wigoda (@drwigoda) correct unwanted sunspots or wrinkles and remove unwanted hair with laser hair removal.

Karen Safarik, the South Beach Spa's newest addition and physician's assistant, works with the best laser technologies available to help patients look their best. Offering services such as chemical peels, laser hair removal, Miami Beach Botox, Radiesse, and Juvederm, Safarik has joined Me Day Spa to offer full-time med-spa services.

"Owning a South Beach spa has allowed me to broaden my plastic surgery practice and reach," said Fort Lauderdale plastic surgeon, Dr. Paul Wigoda. "However, with my primary office in Fort Lauderdale, hiring a physician's assistant to help with the Miami Beach Botox appointments and laser hair removal procedures was the next best step."

About Karen Safarik
Karen Safarik studied with some of the most reputable physicians while training and has been working as a Physician Assistant since 2005. Starting her career in Surgery, Karen then began working with med-spas since 2006 performing everything from laser hair removal to mesotherapy, to dermal fillers and Botox. Karen also has professional experience in Dermatology. She attended the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville for her Physician Assistant studies degree and obtained her undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology at the University of Central Florida. Safarik is also certified as an Emergency Medical Technician. At Me Day Spa, Safarik will be providing med-spa services including: Radiesse, Juvederm, Botox, laser hair removal, and chemical peels.
